The European Commission's representatives at the meeting facilitated an open question and answer dialogue which confirmed that ELBE EUROCLUSTER is progressing well. They also shared proposals for new approaches to be included in future calls for Euroclusters with EISMEA and DG GROW.
On the afternoon of March 18 on the first day, an internal face-to-face meeting took place in Bilbao with representatives from the ELBE EUROCLUSTER alliance: GCE NODE (Norway), Pôle Mer Méditerranée (France), Blauwe Cluster (Belgium), Pomorska Platform Offshore (PPO) (Poland), Energy Cluster Denmark (Denmark) and OffshoreVäst (Sweden). The status of the project was reviewed at this meeting and a representative from GCE NODE gave a peer-to-peer learning session on BD Lab and Flourishinf Business Canvas.
On the second day, the Board Meeting took place on the morning of March 19, with representatives from the European Innovation Council and Executive Agency for SMEs (EISMEA) and the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) taking part remotely. Firstly, this meeting outlined the high level and focus of the project, and reviewed the status of various challenges that lie ahead in the coming months. Then there was an open discussion session with questions and answers, and a chance to share expectations, lessons learned and recommendations with the European Commission. During this session, it was noted that the ELBE EUROCLUSTER project is progressing well, with encouraging conclusions.
